Minutes:

7 February 2005 ­ Steering Committee

Present: David Cunningham, Cecilia McGuire, Cynthia Renninger, Whit Humphreys, Joe Trenn, Tina MacMillan, Anne Munger, Jean Butman, John Fedor, Dawn Pedro.

Important objective to remember: We need to ensure the participation of the town residents during PLACE presentations.

-Create a list of residents who have knowledge of presentation topic for each presentation.

Look into PA System for the events.

Reviewed “Events Questionnaire’ see attached. Made a few revisions.

Add the question ‘What changes would you like to see in Benson?’

Reviewed documents created by data collection sub group.-see attached

“What would we like to learn from these interviews?”

If the committee can outline the answers to this question we can better design an interview questionnaire.

Include on Thursday February 10, 2005 Agenda:

-Ask about using grant money to pay for direct mailing and return envelopes.
-Review the questionnaire.
-Create a list of questions that will give the information we will need to obtain a “Vision”.
-Add the question “Would you agree to an interview?” to the direct mailing questionnaire.
-Discuss ‘local expert’ participation during PLACE events.
