Steering Committee Introduction:

Benson: Past, Present & Future is a community project to celebrate Benson’s past, explore its present, and consider its future.

The Steering Committee has developed the goals outlined here. This project is designed to support an inclusive, interactive process with the residents of Benson, with a goal of learning about Benson’s history and fostering a dialogue about its future.

The Steering Committee intends for this process to produce a vision of Benson’s future ­ how we want our community to develop, what we value, and what role conservation will play. The Steering Committee has chosen engagment techniques designed to both share knowledge, and solicit the ideas and opinions of as many residents as possible.

Simply having our community come together to talk about our future is one of the central goals of Benson: Past, Present & Future.
